Christopher Spelman is a New York based composer. His score for James Gray's latest film, Armageddon Time, has been praised for its "delicate amplification of the film's emotional currents" (The Hollywood Reporter).  His music for Gray's The Lost City of Z earned plaudits for its "glorious, transcendent surge and swell" (The Guardian UK). His work can also be heard in Gray's The Immigrant (2013) and Two Lovers (2009).
